  • Bring your own.

    Bringing your own bike is easy. If you choose to travel on the Eurotunnel or by DFDS ferry and drive down to Alpe d’Huez (enjoying beautiful empty motorways almost all the way), then we can book this all for you.

    If you prefer to fly and book our suggested scheduled flights, then we’ll meet you with a transfer to safely take you and your bike to resort. We can even recommend specially designed bike bags for travelling on a plane with your bike.

  • Hire a bike.

    With a base in Bourg d’Oisans and another location in Alpe d’Huez itself, their specialist technicians know the area and the rides you’ll be experiencing and as such can offer tailored advice. In addition, they can supply everything from additional equipment to clothing.

Our fully English speaking partner bike shop is located in Alpe d’Huez within walking distance of the accommodation. They can provide bike checks, repairs and spare parts, so that if you bring your own bike, you can be reassured that you won’t get stuck. We will also provide a recovery package if anyone needs recovery on the mountain on one of the itineraries around Alpe d’Huez.

In addition, if you haven’t ridden in the Alps before, we will share our expertise in terms of equipment (e.g. which gear ratio / cassette we recommend), we can also advise on what to pack (e.g. a windproof gilet - handy for those long descents) and more generally what to bring (e.g. high-factor sun cream is a must!).
