THE TRIP

THE altitude cycling camp

Bourg-Saint-Maurice

Inspired by pro cycling teams now ubiquitous pre-season altitude camps, Epic21 is a week of mountain cycling around Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Staying at valley level at Bourg-Saint-Maurice (815m) you will get the chance to ride every day at higher altitude like Europe’s highest Col, Col de l’Iseran (2,764 metres) and get all the benefits from altitude exercise training.

From Tour de France favourites like Col de la Loze, Cormet de Roselend, La Plagne, Col de la Madeleine to gentle Col du Petit Saint-Bernard into Italy the week will give you the opportunity to ride varied itineraries for all level of cyclists who enjoy a bit of gradient back at home.

One of the challenges to aim for for participants will be to achieve an “everesting” – or 8,848 metres of elevation over the six days of the trip, although this is not a must do.

“Every time I watch the Tour de France I'm yearning to be there and now I am. I'm 100% in because they're an award winning ski company. And if you're award-winning, you've been running for 20 plus years, you're doing something right and you can place your trust in them. I'm absolutely stoked. I cannot wait to be there.”
