Join us in France's legendary cycling capital, Alpe d'Huez, for the ultimate bucket list challenge of riding the mythical 21 hairpin bend ascent to Alpe d'Huez as many times as you can on the challenge day of this 5-day adventure - that could be 2, 3 4, 5 or even 8 times!
Three ascents would be a huge challenge for most regular road cyclists and a milestone moment for those achieving this. Those used to ultra events might want to aim for 8 climbs , meaning they will have 'Everested' the challenge.
Whatever your target, if you want to take on something big for 2026 or you are looking for your next challenge, then this is for you.
The Location
The climbs and rides around Alpe d'Huez in Isère are mythical. For road cyclists, the ascent to Alpe d'Huez round its 21 hairpin bends is one of the top three most legendary climbs in the world and features prominently in the Tour de France. Make your own mark on this legendary climb.
Before the challenge day, you’ll have the chance to try out some the area’s other superb cycling. From mythical cols such as the Col de la Croix de Fer and the Col du Glandon, to other itineraries around Bourg d’Oisans. There are also two other incredibly scenic routes up to Alpe d’Huez including via the Col de Sarenne. Our Directors have personally researched almost a dozen different itineraries suitable for various abilities, from easy to super hard.

The challenge is the culmination of our unique five-night trip, which brings together a group of keen amateur cyclists looking to push themselves to their limits. You’ll spend a few days enjoying the superb cycling and mythical rides that the area offers before taking on the ultimate challenge, The Epic 21. After which, there will be a chance to celebrate everyone’s achievements at a prize-giving dinner.
